Kicking off this forum with a resource that I use over and over…

        EmojiCopy

This site allows you to quickly get the special characters needed to use Emoki in your emails that will work pretty universally across different email clients – even in subject lines. Emoji can be used to make emails to your list more personal and human. In order to accommodate for most of the email programs your subscribers might use, you want to use unicode characters to represent the emoji. This site will give you the code to copy/paste into your email.

TIP: Using Emoji in your subject lines can sometimes increase open rates.

          Quick questions:
          (1) Have you used emojis in your email subject lines?

          (2) Are their emojis not recommended for subject lines use?

I have used emojis in some of my subject lines and it works just fine. It can help your email stand out in a long list of email in their inbox, but it is important not to overuse them, too.

I think it just makes things more… human. People use them in text messages a lot and it can help convey emotion. It is more human and less corporate and stuffy.
